The Kensington bed contains a memory foam mattress (also called viscoelastic), which combines two concepts: viscosity and elasticity. It uses all CertiPUR-US certified products, meaning no harmful chemicals were used during manufacturing, providing a healthy sleep base.
The blue gel memory foam in the top layer not only takes away excess body heat (it traps the heat so that the body remains cooler) but also provides a soft cushion to the body during sleep. A great advantage of gel foam mattresses lies in their cooling abilities. The gel injected in the foam distributes temperature evenly throughout the mattress, preventing overheating.
The jacquard knit fabric is very breathable and easily maintained because of the easy detachment. It provides medium to firm support. The mattress will give good support to the body while still offering comfort and more room. It is a great value for the money and offers excellent comfort for kids.
