Over time, car air conditioning systems become less efficient due to factors such as insufficient use, worn out seals and minor leaks in the system. To maintain the efficiency of your system, it is recommended that you have air conditioning serviced once every year or 20,000 km's whichever comes first.

The service includes:
- Evacuating the gas for the system
- Testing for leaks
- Refilling and re-pressurising the system
Things you should know about re-gassing:
- Your car will need a re-gas every year or 20,000 km's whichever comes first.
- On average your vehicle will lose around 10% of the gas annually. As it loses, the gas it will stop producing as much cold air
- The re-gassing process takes about an hour to complete
